I've just bought a wintec saddle and was wondering do I need to get some synthetic stirrup leathers or can I use my usual leather ones

Sorry to sound thick but I have never had a synthetic saddle before

Hi - apparently leather ones are fine but you should avoid oiling them as it marks/damages the synthetic material.

I have a wintec and it came (2nd hand) with the wintec stirrup straps. I have heard that leather can be used but will mark the synthetic too.

Thanks for your replies I have gone and got some of them new slimline wintec leathers.

Arabic this saddle was second hand of ebay, to be honest I have bagged a bargin as the saddle is new no marks on it at all and I've only paid £128 for it and that includes the postage.
