Hi Everyone. Thought Id just introduce myself. Hope I'm doing it in the right place!
My names Sheryl. I'm 38, and have had horses for 25 yrs. My present horse is called Indi. PBA. His full name is Legend Indian Prince. I bought him from the Legend Stud 2 1/2yrs ago. He's now 4 yrs old. He's been quite a handful, but I think we're getting there slowly!
I noticed mention of some of Indi's family on here, in the Bloodlines section, under Roundhills.
Indi's sire was Roundhills Moon God, by Moonshine Vision, by Zalaman. His dam was Legend Indian Goddess, by Silver Moonlight. I believe these are/were great horses, but I don't know a lot about them. I may start a new thread to find more pics and information
I love this forum because all your horses are amazing! Arabs are my favourite breed
Heres a pic of Indi. I assume you all like pics!

Thanks
More info... I live in Hertfordshire. I had my first pony, Welsh x Arab, from the age of 13. I had him for 22 yrs. He was PTS 3 yrs ago, due to Cushings, and terrible teeth. He was 30 yrs old! This was him, Andy, at our wedding!
I've also had an Anglo x Welsh D mare, for 10 yrs. We did local jumping shows together. I had her from 2 yrs old, but had to sell her when I had my first daughter, Naomi. Her name was Yasmin. Here she is
I also have another daughter now, Jade. They both ride too. Not my boy though! We've just found an adorable little Sec.A mare. She's tiny! The girls may have a go at showing with her this summer. Her names Maddie.
Is that all the questions answered?! If not just ask

Hi Indi I am relatively new too - only been on here a few weeks. I was one of the people on the Roundhills thread that you refer to you.
Your palomino looks lovely. Have seen a few Legend horses on the circuit and they are all a gorgeous colour. I remember seeing Legend Moon Solitaire when he was younger at 3 counties and he was beautiful. Are you showing Indi this year. My palomino filly has just turned 4 and we are concentrating on breaking her in this year. Regretting not entering some of the in-hand stuff now though but it is too late because I have left her out to bleach away in the sun (in April anyway!!)
I have got some pictures and information on your boy's bloodlines that I can share with you. Will dig them out.

Janine, Our horses are cousins! Your Indi does look very much like my Indi! I even considered calling him Indiana when I got him, but I thought it was a bit girly! How old is your Indi? Did you break her? Whats she like to ride? She's very beautiful, and so lovely and slim, compared to my Indi!
My Indi was easy to break initially, but he can be quite unpredictable. He has a mind of his own, and we have a fair few arguements! The other week, he reared straight up with me, and ended up going over. Luckily I was ok, but its knocked my confidence, so I'm working on upmost manners on the ground now. We go for walks out in hand, and we're brushing up our lungeing. I wonder if he just still has a lot of growing up to do...
Has anyone else had a challenging youngster?
Thank you all for your lovely comments
The Sec.A isn't mine by the way. We just borrow her |

Hey, I think they must be some serious intelligence in the bloodline lol as my Indi is so clever and naughty too!. I haven't owned her long but heres her story -
She was born at the legend stud, sold as a filly and shown in hand. She was then sold and broken in and did everything like jumping, Cross country etc but was then sold to a young girl who's parents had more money than sense! The girl was much to scared for her so she ended up left in a field " looking pretty" for a year until she was sold to the lady i brought her from. Sadly again she was sold to a girl who really wasn't capable of bringing a horse back into work and i feel made everything worse , she would try ride her and Indi would just buck and then the girl would get off , put her back in the stable and give her a carrot!.
When i went to see her she was a nightmare, bucking , running off - she even went straight up in the air 3 times in an attempt to get me off i think she had just learnt to be naughty as she new she would be put away but after about half an hour of this she carmed down and was actually really nice , thats when i realised at some point she had been well schooled etc.
I brought her never the less lol ready for battle after battle but she has been so good! We now have her hacking out (which she hadn't done for years!) and she loves it , we take her to the beach , in the water etc - had 1st canter on her last weekend!.
I find you can’t push her into anything , don’t know if yours is the same? If you are too nice she just takes the pi*s big style but if you get cross or try push her into anything she just won’t move or goes up ( like trying to get her out the drive!) but just keep trying and she will go eventually!
I love the fact she has her naughty little ways though , keeps me busy!
Do you have any more pics of your boy? Am terrible I take pics every day lol
Oh she is 8yrs old too x

He is lovely , they look so alike its untrue!. Indi is about 15hh /15.1hh i will have to measure her at some point.
I love that your boy has a long mane too , they had Indi's really short so i am growing it out as i think it suits them so much more!.
Ohh you may like to see my music video i made for the film " The Silver Brumbies" for a palomino fix :)!
