Oh my god how terrible for you, you must be so worried I use to live near Loughborough and my husband comes from there.
Are the police confident that they will catch them.

Linda, how awful and the fact they have your address would really spook me. This is why I adore animals as they give you unconditional love FOREVER!!!!!!! My husband and I were travelling in the horsebox at one time when some silly prat kept slamming on his brake making us have to brake hard and all I could think about was my poor horse being thrown about. Well it ended up with my husband who is a pensioner being thrown to the ground with this big guy punching him. People just stopped and stared. I am no more than 7st 4lbs and ran out of the box and tried to grab his right arm from hitting Alan again. But to no avail so with all my force I leapt into the air and curled my fist and did a back handed crack on his NOSE. Yuk!!!! it just gouged everywhere blood and gore. But it had the desired effect and he staggered back holding what was left of his nose calling me all the names under the sun yelling to people to call the police. Anyway, cutting a very long story short I was charged with an assault....though it was a 'Pre emptive strike ' and my Alan was charged on three accounts. The guy was an Army captain who was very upset even though he was the one with the road rage. I am very much a pacifist and wouldn't harm a fly and so it was more amazing that I was the one who broke the guys nose. Anyway, eventually no charges were brought against us by the Ploice. But it really shook us both up. Though I would do it again for any of my animals or family. Quite funny really in the papers, Arm Captains nose broken by 7st , 5ft 3ins wife of Pensioner !!!!!! Hi,
Sorry we have been off line, the police have fitted panic alarms and we forgot to put the phone line through a broadband filter I think the alarms are for our peace of mind, we already have a house alarm but who takes any notice of them?
Yes Christine it is! when did you leave Loughborough?
Good for you Kora I hope it really hurt him
Kathleen I just hope they catch them soon then Alastair might be able to relax a bit.. I think he is just worried what will happen now they have the home address.

Hi Linda....Hope hubby is Ok. I agree with others, what gives these complete dregs of the earth the right to take what they want what gives them the right to do this to decent hardworking individuals ......scum bags. I work with adults with mental health problems and 2 years ago one of them pointed a gun at me and pulled the trigger......he missed !!! the police were called and this person was arrested and given a caution because of his mental ill health, he is a scrounging, malingering alcoholic scum bag......and I am still expected to work with him (but thats another story). This country has gone mad. I needed to speak to someone following my incident and I would suggest your hubby does too......it did affect me for a long time and I felt very vulnerable when alone.
Kora.....good for you .

Thank you Kirsty and Karen
Mandy,
You are very brave, I couldn't and wouldn't work with people like that
They are better off exterminated, the world would be a better place without them in it,
I agree he does need to speak to someone, it really has affected him!
Clearly the justice system is not working, crime rates are just getting higher and thugs with knives and guns

Thats is awful! Glad your hubby is o.k. We got robbed whilst we slept, and i thankgod every day that we did not wake up, esp my Dad, who is a big, strong man(he's actually known as the Ninja man as one of our neighbours got attacked at night, and our other neighbour saw this man in black leaping over a hedge to fight the 3 men that attacked our neighbour(was actually my Dad in a dressing gown), he saved the day!
Kora how awful-but how did it end up in a fight? Did your husband get out or something, if you are having to slam your brakes on, that means you are driving too close to the car in front. |
