Both my guesses were wrong so I think I'm barking up the wrong tree. I've looked at Arabic words and Crusader progeny and still none the wiser! Do you have any grown up photos of this horse Lynda? Annie was with me today and she has a Crusader daughter bred by the Maxwells and born in that year but she has is called Venezia so clearly not the Arabic for life !

well I think no one is going to get this because he/she may have died young, and there are no details about them on the all breed, his/her name was "Ankh "which means "life" in egyptian , it is the sign that ansata use in their prefix (although this horse is not ansata,) I saw this sign on all the tombs in egypt!I know only the picture and never heard anymore , so maybe dead now, what a terrible loss but if someone does know if its alive or anything about its where abouts we would love to know |
