please can anyone help me name this colt? This photo was taken in Aachen in 2006. The colt was three then, didn't make the final cut but made a huge impression on me.

Aside from the top 5 in that class there were: Psyrasic Esphino Om El Exquisit HB Bastille Meshan Ibn Kubinec Forever Besson Wextreem
Dont think that colt looks like any of those though! I could be mistaken! Await a definitive answer. Hanx |

Hi,
The handler looks like Tom Schoukens from the Schoukens Training Centre in Belgium.
Their email address is schoukenstrainingcenter@hotmail.com and if it is him, I'm sure they would know who the horse was.
Ahhh just had a look at the website and wow Om El Bahreyn looks faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaab!
Good luck anyway,
Lauren |

Aaawwww, Lindylou. I have spent hours trying to upload this photo on to the quiz forum because I felt sure that you would know him, or be able to hazard a good guess. |

I should have said he was in the futurity class on the Friday, they had run out of catalogues and I had hoped to work out who he was in the colt class but he either wasn't entered or didn't appear. It's really frustrating because I am a bit of an anorak when it comes to filing my photos. |

Oh this is really bugging me now, as he looks so familiar! Wasnt the Futurity class on the thursday in 2006? This colt really doesnt look 3 either, i thought it might be Emotion (Eternity Ibn Navarrone-D/Praetoria), because i remember he scored low..i think about 8-10 in the Championship, but he was only a yearling then. Are you positive he is a 3 year old colt in the Futurity class 2006? I'm wracking my brains here...as i cant seem to find my programme, but i remember in the colts there was Vergil, FS Al Shaba and Psy Dream who all scored highly, then there was Emotion, Taymar and Khilago who didnt do so well. I'm sure there was one or too more, but just cant remember! Any more info on this colt? I do remember that Tom Schoukens did show Emotion in 2006, but not sure if he was handling him on that day. Does look like him in the piccy tho! Han x |

If you look carefully they both have the same white long-thin snip on the nose...so they must be the same horse (unless my eyes are failing me completely) |

I knew he looked familiar. Remember seeing this colt at the Tulip Cup last year where he got a very respectable 89.25 and third place behind BG Marcus and SL Kasjmir. I think he is still owned by Osterhof Stud in Germany. Han x |

I think you've got it, sorry for misleading you all with the wrong age. I remembered the next day that they had tearlings in the futurity instead of having the foal classes on the Friday. Thanks for all your help, |

Hi,
You are correct it is indeed EMOTION, he was then shown by Tom Schoukens,
He was shown in 2007 by Scott Allman and was awarded champion colt at Aachen,
We own his beautiful half sister ESTONIAH by ESPANO ESTOPA
