Thats so annoying im sure I have seen the last picture before, but cant think who it is!
Love the pics of Carmargue Lynda I hadnt seen those before, would love to see more if you have any (I was never lucky enough to meet him in the flesh  )

Yes, you are ALL right to the top of the class and collect 5*'s each I have a quiet a lot of pictures of Carmargue but I dont know if I have any you have'nt already seen, I will look later

Me too !I am not the worlds blinking leading authoroty on Arabian horses, I am just a very lucky person to have in my possession many wonderful books, and magazines going back to the very first AHS magazine in 1956 and when I get a chance I love to read them over and over, and doing this quiz helps me to rediscover them all again, ( my trouble is senile dementia is setting in fast so the old memory is not what it was.) people like Egbert and Mike have a vast knowledge of the arabians and I am in AWE of them
I would just like to say that I had an e mail tonight from a really nice lady who asked me to keep going with the quiz as although she hardly ever posts, she enjoys it, Bless her, so thanks Jan I will keep going as long as you all want me to. but do say when you get fed up wont you |

Jan, come and join in ! I'm a great one for leafing through all my magazines and books when I'm certain I recognise a picture. I'm sure that is probably cheating but there is no way I could retain so much knowledge in my poor little peabrain!
Lynda, can I ask which books you reference mostly? I have a birthday coming up and am always looking to add to my collection. I'm useless at looking things up on the internet, how on earth do you ask the computer who a certain photo is of

I have so many books Jen, I also have the Arabian world magazines going back to 1994, and Arabian news magazines, Tuto Arabi magazines, all these magazines have interesting articles of the old world horses and new as well as advertising
Some of the best books are the Arabian exodus ,the Crabbet Arabian stud, kellog Arabians,, Authentic Arabian bloodstock, ride away singing , Hanan,, the Asil Arabian, ands if you want a really good read , Lady Blunt, the burley Turk, the Darley Arabian and on and on,, just get your hands on every book you can get hold of , read and enjoy, and then you realize what amazing aniamals you have the pleasure of living with |
