Thank you Sue. The pictures are from when I first got him and turned him outfor the first time. The next ones I hope to get him posed, or from a ride. He is a real sweetheart. |

So sorry to hear that Rezah died so young - he was a lovely horse and I have often wondered what happened to him and the rest of Heather's fabulous group of Babson-breds (and indeed to Heather!).
My herd is closely related to Cidaro: I have his sire's half-sister, one stallion is descended from another half-sister on the dam side and my other boy has both Cidaro's sire Mudir and Mudir's full brother in blood, Marzook. I just love the qualities you get with Babson lines: doing horses with real 'tent temperaments' and classic Arabian type!

Hi Keren, I went into partnership with Heather about 27 years ago, I have all the remaining herd as she has just retired from horses, I have had all the Babson related horses for many years as she concentrated on SE laterly, I also have those horses now, It was a great loss that Rezah died young and then his son Kildalton Prince died at 12yrs with a malignant keratoma,it is this horse that Cid has replaced, would love to see some pics of your horses, Mandy. |

B&T, Hi, I've found a very tiny old photo of the chestnut stallion that I saw with carol a few years back, it does look very much like the new boy you have, although this one in my pic has no black flesh marks in his nostril, will, save it till I see you...Sue |

Sorry, have been really busy. I have just grabbed the easiest to find pictures as I felt a bit guilty, there are more and I will find them! Not the best photo of Tiger Lily, she looks exhausted and it was very rare that she put her ears back, but he was a gorgeous foal. Sadly I think he was sold to the UAE and disappeared, I don't recall his name.
This was taken after Lily had just finished a race, I think Huntingdon but I may be wrong. Look at the size of her nostrils!
I rode first rode her when she was 3 and i can safely say that she was the most genuine horse that I ever sat on, she would do anything I asked of her, with a smile on her face! She did however on two occasions put in a singular, horrific, handstand but I had to laugh as she was so pleased with herself. Heather offered her to me before she raced as she knew how much I loved her and she had so many in training and Lily was the smallest, but with 1 pony already I just couldn't. Weeks later I took her to her first race meeting at Larkhill. We unloaded the colts first and I returned to find my beloved Lily, ears *****ed but trembing nervously at the back of the lorry. I led her off to the sound of two men laughing, I hestitated and asked why, they replied 'did you bring the pony as a companion'. I burst in to tears on the spot, I was 13! She subsequently ran her race, with some good runners and came home 10 lengths clear of the nearest horse, she won. I cried, Heather cried, I think even her husband Fleur cried! After she had taken her victory walk around the parade ring and received the prize, I walked her back to the lorry. A man came charging over and asked to see the owner, I pointed Heather out and he charged over to her and offered £10k (alot then) to take her on the spot, bless Heather, she looked at Lily, then me, then at him and refused. Heather then offered her to me for £800!
Her results are 89' 10044140 90' 2130620
She also ran a big race can't remember where and two of her sisters were also running. Wendy, her trainer and jockey decided to ride Lil as she was on great form and she came first and her two sisters came 2nd and 3rd. I think it was in the racing post. I have lots of her siblings and sire if you are interested. I also have many framed pictures of them that Heather gave me but I've tried scanning and the glass makes them blurry which is a pain as they are beautiful. |

Forgot to say, I always knew that all of the Rezah babies had the same wonderful, fun, kind temperament. I could get on one that I had never ridden and I knew them instinctively, it was like riding their father Rezah, they really were so similar. Really hope that your friends is as wonderful as them, I have no doubt that he will be.
Ice maidens results were
91' 42522320
I just remembered, she used to shrivel one nostril up when she found something 'dis-tastesful' she was hilarious!
