Can anyone advise me? Dulcie appears to have tiny hard wart like lumps on her belly - there are not sore and just attached to the skin surfice. They are on the underside in the middle - so nowhere near her teats or the girth area. I am so worried they are sarcoids developing. Should I get the vet to take a look. Dulcie is 7 and in very good health.

Worried mum

Do you have a picture? Are you sure they are not ticks?

Pasha had 2 wart-like little lumps pn his thigh - the vet said they were warts and that we could freeze them off but best to leave them. One fell offa few weeks ago when he had a bath and the other one looks like it's on it's way out too.... they are about 3mm in diameter and black

Hi Pasha - I will try and take a photo tomorrow. They look like human warts but very small and not in a tight cluster. They are more of a dirty white not pink at all. I don't think they are ticks.

I think Dulcie may well have the same as Quinn...............Granuloma! The vet says it is nothing to worry about, and that they will go in time. They appear as a result of thickening of the skin cells. She suspects the cause of them in Quinn's case is over feeding of carrots?! They don't bother him at all, but I find the whole thing annoying!

As mentioned on Gui Gon Jinn's granuloma thread: Amelia had two fungal granulomas and apparently they are terminal if left. Don't wish to frighten you but if they are the same thing perhaps your vet ought to have a look next time they're around, Just In Case.

Before I call the vet I decided to try rubbing New Zealand Manuka Honey onto the area - after one week they have all gone! So I will keep doing it for a while and see if they come up again. Amazing stuff!
