Can anyone let me know what the current 'transfer of ownership' fee is for a pure bred mare please?

if you call the AHS they should be able to tell you. it was bloody expensive when i did mine tho i think it came to £80 by the time id got my ownership certificate |

I'm trying to avoid calling the AHS, it takes ages to get through, then the person you need to speak to is on the phone so I thought I would try the 'Oracle' that is Arabian Lines Forum |

I think it's still £30, but if you want it returned by recorded delivery (signed for) you have to include an extra £3.50. I phoned fairly recently to ask as I'm terrible for transferring mine and hadn't transferred a mare I've had for 2 years |

Just got mine through, the letter says £30 purebreds. £15 partbreds and geldings. |

I rang them on Monday as I having just bought my purebred filly. They quoted me £33.50. Nicky |

I phoned up it's £33.50 for mares, £18.50 for geldings - you need to include the extra £3.50 for recorded delivery for all transfers now (even thought the form still says £30/£15!) |

yep its £30! didnt no about the extra for recorded delivery tho even tho i sent mine off by recorded delivery, didnt think oh well too late now, does anyone know how long it takes?? |
