I came across this company and thought I would spread the word.
I have been using 2 of their preparations on Freddie and so far I'm really pleased. I am using the Sweetitch (Freddie doesnt get full blown sweetitch but a nasty reaction nonetheless) and Allergy remedies although they do lots more. The results from their Sweetitch remedy has apparently meant that some horses no longer need boetts and the allergy works well for pollen and in some cases has dramatically helped COPD.
I think they are quite reasonably priced and most remedies are in spray form (to be sprayed on gums etc). Freddie soon decided that wasn't "cricket" and now has his on a piece of bread lol!!
Their website doesnt cover half of what they do but the girls are exceptionally helpful via phone and email.
The most re-assuring thing I found (and we havent got that far yet)is that if the remedy doesnt work and you can send a sample (in my case - a fly or some mucous)they will make up a remedy with that particular allergen in it.
I have been using the sweetitch remedy for about 2 weeks, a week to get it into his system and then trial and error but I have established that at the moment he needs to have one spray a day to keep on top of it and it works well. When I reduced it to everyother day, I didnt half see a difference. From a chilled happy chappy to an itchy irritable teasy horse!!
The allergy remedy is going to take a little longer I think before I can reduce it from the 2 sprays a day however, the results are great already.
I will stop waffling now - but I just thought that if anybody could benefit as I am, then it is only right I share. The sprays are about £16 each with p+p. You get a free Arnica spray (worth the same) with your first order and although its only small bottles, you can hardly see anything gone from mine so I would imagine they will last for ages.

Hi everyone, Sorry, only just got back here.
The web address is www.crossgatesfarm.co.uk (I didn't find it much help). They do have an ebay shop and are based in N Yorkshire and their email address is orders@crossgatesfarm.co.uk. I came across them via my N Horsemanship instructor.
Hope its ok putting the info here. If not I'm really sorry and wont do it again!!
Beau all I am using is the "sweetitch" spray. I explained to them his symptoms and they send their usual spray. Regarding his allergy, when I explained, they did add a couple more ingredients. That is all I am using no potions etc. They answer emails v promptly and are most helpful.
