Just thought I would share this snap taken from our patio yesterday morning. Well they do lead such hard lives here

Yes we have LOTS of grass - now we have no cattle and the sheep you see in the background are our "paddock grazers" - they are what's left of our original flock - now they are elderley ladies who do keep the paddocks in order
But our ground is fairly wet over winter - so is not grazed (apart from the sheep) hence it gets lots of time to recover.
We do have a couple of "bare" paddocks for the good doers |

That is such a lovely picture !
I'm also jealous of your grass, we are back to Savannah conditions after being waterlogged for 6 months! It didn't have a chance to grow a single inch in the 3mins the ground took to bake over.
