It is with great sadness that I report the passing of my wonderful stallion, Poseur - sired by Nrav Ibn Aswan and out of GG Mariposa.
A World Champion as a youngster, he always thrilled the crowds with his extravagant movement and charisma. I am so pleased that we had the chance to show him again two years ago, he certainly didn’t disappoint.
Always a favourite with the staff, he could take as much kissing and cuddling as you could give him. His temperament was wonderful and he so enjoyed talking to the babies making the silliest little noises as the cheeky colts would chew on his face and neck. One of his happiest times was when he watched his son being born and saying hello to him every day.
Poseur had eyes like liquid ink wells and hair like spun silver, gorgeous tiny ears and the most agile of bodies. He had a good life and was cherished throughout, a joy to his breeders Mr and Mrs Blake before spending a happy 6/7 years with Ann and Phil Grogan. Poseur joined my stud 9 years ago and has always been treasured, he was a dear, dear boy and I feel his loss so much. It is a different stud without him and I just miss him so much.
I now see him galloping free across the clouds to a wonderful green valley full of friends.
RIP my fella, you will forever be in my heart.

| Oh Heather how very sad. He was a beautiful boy - and it sounds as though he had the most wonderfully happy life with you. |

| So sad to hear about your loss. He was a distant relative to my boy who has Nrav Ibn Aswan as his grandfather. It's nice to hear that he gave you many happy memories, he looks wonderful from the pics. |

Heather that is such sad sad news.............. Mad mare and me saw Poseur many years ago when we were looking for a stallion for Crystal, I really so much wish we had gone ahead now! One of my biggest regrets that we never took advantage of him when we had the chance
A beautiful beautiful boy he was then, kind and gentle with presence to burn!

Darling Poseur. How blessed we were to have known you and to care for you for 7 years. We were so proud and privileged that you came to us. I could never believe that "ordinary folk" like us could ever own a boy like you.
You were such a gentle, unassuming soul. When you trotted out in our paddock and gave us your World Champion display, you would make me scream and bring tears to my eyes at the same time.
Forever the gentleman, with your "foot fetish". You would nibble our shoes and lick our wellies with great delight. How we loved you!! How glad we were when you went to our dear friend Heather Brown. We knew you would be safe with her and that she would love you as much as we did.
How proud we were to see you at the North West Group Show as a veteran, winning your class and taking Reserve Senior Male Champion.
Forever a "Lancashire Lad".
God Bless You Dear Friend! You are forever free. Till we meet again over the Rainbow Bridge.

 arrr,,so sorry to hear about this sad loss to the arab worldand my sympathies go out to all involved with such a beautiful stallion.....Was it by any chance poseur who was rolling around in the mud at Malvern Championships 2005??? by any chance |

| Very sad to hear this - I remember him with Brian as a youngster and who could forget his appearance at Malvern when he was impatient waiting for his rosette and decided to turn himself pinto by rolling in the mud! |

Bless Poseur and all who loved him. I realise now who he was as soon as the mud was mentioned! I have photos of him half brown  (if anyone wants to post them for me)! What a wonderful character, he brought tears of laughter to many people's eyes that day at Malvern. |

I am so sorry to hear Poseur has passed away.
I remember seeing him at Brian Blakes place many ayear ago and he
was a wonderful mover and a lovely looking horse.
I remember him letting him go in his arena to *Simply the Best*.
Truly wonderful horse.

| Really sorry to read this, i remember him in his youth,and later rolling in the mud at Malvern too,please accept my condolensces too,hopefully he is galloping freely over that rainbow bridge,with our Spey Crystal AKA Rosie...... |
