It was a really nice morning and all us mothers (5) who look after daughters horses decided to tack up and take them for a hack. I was in front as usual with taz as he does like to lead but when i turned round i had to laugh it looked like a granny convention as not one of us was under fourty. We had a lovely ride just walking and chatting. No arguments with kids. None of the horses put a foot wrong (except taz who decided he wanted to go when we got to hill)I am lucky he can canter to there walk so he didnt disrupt the others It amazes me how Arabs get such a bad name when three of them were pure breds and one a high percentege of Arab were just so well behaved when they havent all been out together before. Bless the little new forest he struggled to keep up as his legs were that much shorter but the main thing was we all got back in one peace
Nat, sounds like mega fun and wish I could have joined you with Poo. He would have loved it, and how many of us oldies would have ridden anything but an Arab?
Carla when you get time you are more than welcome to come and ride sav or taz out. Mind you i bet our riding is no where near as good as where you are. It was really nice as we all enjoyed it. Made a change to be able to get out and not mucking out while our girls ride.
