Actually if the truth be known I wish I wasn't into chocolate. When I'm stressed I can eat a large bar a day ........ and have been almost every day for the last three weeks and over half a stone later I am paying the price.

My easter will consist of:
CHOCOLATE!!! Don't care what shape or form it comes in!
Only the four days off for me I'm afraid, and tomorrow is going to be hectic as I have an analysis to finish first (today I started at 7am and finished about 5:45. Lunch?! for wimps). However, to make up for it I'm planning a lovely 25 mile ride around the glorious Kent countryside on on Friday. DIY on Saturday and Sunday (new house still needs a lot of work), but still with some horsey time, and then we're off to Brands Hatch on Monday for the Superbikes. |

Will be spending Easter Sunday doing what I always do, organisng an egg hunt round the woods at the farm for about 45 little darlings all under tha age of 11..................... they the kids who mostly live in the area, whose parents leave eggs with names on at the farm and then I hide them in the woods with a set of clues for each child..............takes them about an hour to hunt them down although last year one child somehow eneded up nearly in the other side of the valley!
Other than that its normal stuff, like horses, sheeps, playing with the new foalie (he is lovely) oh and making son in law finish redesigning my back garden! |

I've only got the 4 days off so making the most of it... tomorrow I'll be getting Agonia ready for the show on Saturday, obviously Saturday will be spent at the show (dragging poor Henry there as my groom) Sunday we're hoping to get on with the DIY on our cottage (soooo much renovating to do still...) and perhaps have a go at cooking a roast. On Monday we're meeting my parents in Henley on Thames for a picnic on the river
Oh and how can I forget, in between everything I'll be eating as much chocolate as I can!
Hope you all have a lovely Easter too!

My mum arrives later today so tomorrow she and I will go off shopping (only I can't buy anything as just renewed house insurance yesterday and Badminton is coming up...) - don't know what we'll do Saturday; Sunday we are having roast lamb (thank you Roseanne for the recipe, never cooked a joint of lamb before...) and we'll do something jolly on Monday.
Hopefully will be riding Saturday: Himself has offered to walk beside me as Amelia hasn't been ridden since mid-December and I am - to be honest - expecting liveliness and then temper when I won't let her canter!!!
MUST get back into riding, at this rate it'll be Christmas before I get back in the saddle! And horsefly season is fast approaching...
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE

Well, hopefully Easter will consist of two Vets arriving from Kent to stay B&B, to look at and buy my bitch puppy ! My Borders are very popular as three vets have them now, and one is at the Equine Referral Center in Newmarket, having a lovley life! We don,t go away at Easter as we are so close to the A303 and the world and his wife go to the South West on the A303 ! My OH will buy me a Green and Blacks Egg, and some Saint Agur cheese, with Dr Kraags crackers, that we will share and the kis will hunt for eggs in the garden, (find a few eggs and a new lunch box and a DVD each ) as they don,t go mad on Chocolate.....there maybe a bottle( or 3 )of rioja opened to .I may even get on me horse !! Happy Easter everyone Polly |

I'm sorting/cleaning the house ready for our B&B guests - OH has gone shopping for provisions (bless him!!). The first lot of guests (family who've stayed here recently) will be arriving about 1 o'clock tomorrow morning - travelling up from London.
I don't think me & OH have bought each other Easter eggs since before we were married (20 years this May)!
Now....where's the duster...

My mother and sister are coming to me for a couple of days - as mother is so ashamed of my house ! They are going to sort it out and clean and maybe paint (or get ready to do it). I have no idea what to do, so will probably be in a lot of trouble for being totally useless (def. not a domestic goddess)
OH has threatened NOT to buy me an easter egg as I am on a diet!
Won't ride but hopefully will be able to escape mother and sis to go take Honey out long reining.
Have a grrrrreeeeeat Easter everyone |
