I'm COVERED in ginger fluffiness! Spent an hour defuzzing the Wee Ginger One this afternoon...dodging glares and tail flicking and general distain!
This is how she repayed me!
"Quick shes not close enough to chase me up!"
"Oooo managed to do both sides evenly"
"Think I'll just sit here and rub a bit more sand in my tail"
Now shes fluffy AND sandy

They can be so ungrateful I think they perfer to be dirty. in the past when mind has had a bath she does the same.

| She loves a good roll Christine Its not the muck thats the problem, sand is HORRID stuff! The livery fields are shut now for summer prep, and as she won't play out in the mini turnout paddock on her own our playtime in the arena is the only chance shes had to get down and dirty! |

I'm totally convinced Mr. Poo only rolls in the mud so that he gets a thorough brush when he comes in. He is really peeved if I don't give him a real good scrub with a dandy brush and is absolutely miffed if I leave his night rug off!!!!
Your girlie looks so happy though, how could we deny them this pleasure???

How DO you lot get such shiney ginger ponies!??! Heaps of elbow grease tonight and still we're a dull sandy tainted effort! I'm afraid to say she's just going to HAVE to be bathed if the weather holds up! YO was showing a new client around this evening and Honey was tied up in the barn, being brushed, hair flying everywhere! Poor women looked horrified as YO suggested she just duck under Honeys neck...well she was flinging her head everywhere, scowling and stomping at me. I smiled sweetly and explained that shes all talk and this is her way of pretending she isn't enjoying the attention |
