Just taken these photos of Vlacq Majid - shes lived out about 1000ft up a Welsh hill with the other mares all winter (rugged) - just took her rug off to find a nice shiney coat despite not being brushed for ages & ins't she a good doer! The other mares all look really well also!

Here she is with OH.
Kirsty - I am going to have her backed & ridden on by my friend & then see - OH says she will be totally wasted staying here - but we love her to bits! Shes by the same sire at Tricias Kham...so endurance might juts be her thing! We wanted to put her Rameed last year - but she was scared of him.......so might see what she thinks this time! |

This is Polly our QH with OH - a different orange coloured horse! Shes actually about 14.3'ish - looks about 12hh in the photo |

Wow Judith what lovely horses you have, they look so well and shiny. Took my welsh Sec D mares coat off today to let her have a roll (it has been off everyother day all winter), she too looks lovely and shiny, something about chestnuts I think, that a bay, my favourite colours.

Well thank you Heather  All the neds have come through this winter (as usual!) looking really well - 8 live out all year - three in at nights in the winter. Lots of lovely home made hayalge & TOTAL horse feed - seems to do the trick!!
In fact one old gentleman (Rameed) has come through the winter looking so well we are wondering when his foal is due...........!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Judith, two of ours are out now, two still in. However, I put rugs on this evening on those left out, as I know it is due to rain tonight. Its a bit like us at this time of year, during the day it is lovely and warm in the spring sunshine, then really chilly and damp when the sun goes down. I never know what to wear, I am forever stripping off then putting jumpers back on again. Roll on summer!

Yes Nicky - roll on summer & fine settled weather - the horses are itching to be rugless!! Its bitterly cold here tonight...brrrrr!!!!

Looking great!! Another gorgeous hairy Orange!! Really like her. Love your others too. I've left mine out last night no rugs  Horrible mum!!!! It was so warm yesterday, but today's not looking that nice! |

Thanks Teresa - all the neds have lovely coats - think its due to the high oil content in their feed (Soya oil) - they only get a small feed daily but its excellent quality!
We call her Maj - or more often than not Marjorie!!! |
