YOU CAN NOT BE SERIOUS!! Its been beautiful here in Burnley today...Honeyb and I went for our verge trimming stroll up the lane and basked in sunshine (yeah it was so windy at times my eyes were streaming!) but beggars can't be choosers! I've just had do 'down-rug' Honey cos she was getting to warm in her stable rug!
Have now looked at the forecast (long-range) -???? snow .......I think Jeff was doing a bit of leg pulling - hes very good at it!!!!! & I must have been very gulable today - I don't normally fall for his jokes.....& hes had a long time to perfect his tactics - over 70 something years of leg-pulling!!!!
Judith, he was right - apparently the countryfile forecast for this week was rain on Thursday for Wales and possibly - eeek! - Shropshire. That seems to have changed now but looking at the long range forecast, there could be snow/sleet next week too.
Here we go again. The poor horses haven't got a clue whats going on. Sylvie was in her full neck heavy weight in the middle of last week and now she's out bare naked and casting. I was wrapped up like the Mitchelin man and now muck out in a t-shirt. Hmmmmmm Global warming at it's best eh?

Forecast for Shropshire has now improved (sorry about the rest of you - I want to see if I can carry on leaving mine out all night!) - Brecon/Builth Wells forecast is much the same as ours now. Some heavy showers, temps around 10 - 14 C. Bit better than the snow forecast 2 days ago!
