Mujiz used to stand at Silverdle. I Saw him in a ridden class at Towerlands a couple of years ago think he came 4th or 5th. He is a thoroughly nice person and passes his temperament on to his babies - JJM's Man about town, JJM's Man of the moment and Dance of the Lord (to name a few).

Hi Sarah,
I'll flick through some old copies of AHS News - I'm sure there is a picture of Mujiz in there.
Failing that I'll ask Rebecca or Wendy if they have any photo's and info at the AGM on tuesday. |

You might be interested to look at this.. http://www.geocities.com/aolsen_2000/PedigreeAnsataIbnHalima.htm
and In AHS News No.88 Summer 1997, Emma Maxwell writes about (3 full pages & Pic) of the Influence of Eqypt, part 1 - Nazeer.. with pictures and reference to several horses in your pedigree..Anasta Inb Sudan, the youngest son of Halim Shah + pic,Ibn el Nefous + pic.
The US Mag..Arabian World from the 1980ies has several features of Anasta breeding....
Hope that helps a bit more... |

Hi Sarah
Sorry if you've already tried this website but if you haven't, I found it really useful when I was digging around for pictures of Agonia's relatives!

Crusader (Ansata Halim Shah/AK Kastana) was a 16 hands straight Egyptian stallion. He was reserve world champion twice in the show ring, won on the racetrack and also under saddle. He was bred by Countess Lewenhaupt in Sweden and bought by the Maxwell's as a weanlin or possibly a yearling. He was then exported to the middle east and sadly died of a heart attack at the age of 14 (I think that was the age he died).
He has sired some lovely horses (including my stallion), it is tragic that he died so young. He was known all over the world and has progeny in most countries.

Crusader was actually sired by Salaa el Dine who was by Ansata Halim Shah, I'm sure you knew that anyway Barbara and it was just a typing error I saw Mujiz at Lodge Farm when he was quite young and was very taken with him, unfortunately I don't recall taking any photos of him. |

Thank you, Lanabanana, as you say, a careless error, brain not in gear at the time! Lovely breeding.

There is a Mustaphah (think that is how it is spelt) who is a Crusader son, may be the same horse.
