Put my little car nose first into a ditch on my way to the ayrd this morning.

My poor wee saxo was travelling well through the snow one minute, the next I had to brake to pull into a passing place and the next thing I know we're gracefully sliding nose first into the ditch. It would have put all of those celebs to shame. What a landing too! One wheel in the air at a fantastic angle. I've never seen my car like that before and DON'T ever want to see it like that again. Was eventually pulled out by a nice farmer and his tractor. I'm fine but my baby has cracked its bumper. Not so you'd notice, but I know.

Lindsay, thank goodness you are safe, and at least it was only a bumper, bet you are feeling a bit shaken up. What is the snow situation like in Scotland at present? We are going to Aviemore for Easter. We are hoping for lots of snow.

It happened so slowly that it was almost like I wasn't there.

The snow situation is well, more like ice showers at the moment. Very cold and horrible to be out.

I live about an hour away from Aviemore but we don't very often have the same amount of snow. It's a lovely place and be sure and go and see the Reindeer.
