Its a glorious day up her in the High Peak today and I have taken off Gaza's rug and let him soak up the sun ha ha. It will be lucky if it ever gets past the 2 inches of mud he decided to cover himself in. But hey thats horses, he is loving it, spring is defintley in the air and on our way to the field with Gaz on one side of me & sharon on the other side...Gaza decided to try and levitate to the field ha ha he spent most of his time in the air (resembled a rocky horse..up down up down) Can be tricky when your trying to hold two of them, thank god little sharon was a bit more laid back. Will try and post a picture later, they aint to good because my battery went flat (had to keep leaving it a few mins then turn the dam thing on again)
How horses change when they feel a little winter/spring sun on there backs.

 My mare done the same today, out with no rug on beautiful day, just as i was leaving the yard I had a nice gentleman ring up who wants to come and view her tomorrow, aaarrrgggh!!!
I'll have to get up at 6 to make her look half presentable lol
She had a jolly good roll and is covered, head to toe!!!!

| Thought I might do the same tomorrow but the weather has changed and it is far too wet and muddy now so will have to wait a little longer. Shida is definately less grumpy now the nights are drawing out though |

I turned Dennis out naked as well today and not only did he do the hippo thing it also rained........

Mine are still rugged, but when I went to bring them in today Samantha was standing there naked but for a generous coating of mud . The clips at the front of her Wug had broken and she just rolled out of it I think, leaving the surcingles fastened. Took ages to get enough of it off to put another rug on |

Mine wasn't rugged today and I so cannot believe how muddy and dreadlocked she is! I'm off riding till about June I think !

Thanks Zan for remembering . She is starting to relax a bit more, lots of rolling and for the first time today she didn't need leading out to the hay, she actually went out herself. Panicked a few times and came charging back but did venture back out a bit which is a real breakthrough. She also started trotting through the rest of the herd, rather than clinging to the hedge and even groomed one horse which was lovely to see. She will probably start staying out 24/7 in a couple of weeks time if the weather stays ok. She's still not the horse I know, but making good headway .

I've turn mine a few times now with no rug she loves it rolling bucking and broncing all over the place like a spring chicken (where did that saying come from she's nothing like a spring chicken).

Oh and this is my Suffolk Punch "Toffee" looking very woolly ha ha. He is doing his favorite thing.....EATING he was dreadfully neglected before I bought him a few yrs back. He just loves his food bless. He's my hacking horse....He's also got a hell of a jump in him to, very powerfull neddy, looking at the photo, butter woulbnt melt ha ha Yeah right
