Some of you may have read my advice needed thread so will know about me getting a puppy. Well anyway I went to see her this evening and she is gorgeous and soooo adorable I cant wait til I can bring her home on saturday. Took a few piccies thought you might all like to see her.
Thing is we still havnt decided on a name yet, has anyone got any ideas? We like Lolly, Poppy (but this is name of other puppy I was going to get) We really like Lottie but it doesnt really roll of your tongue and I know so many people wont pronounce the tt's. So if anyone has any suggestions please?

Jackie the Jack Russell,
the idea comes from a friend who called her boy Russell, because he was a JR too.
Tanner because shes tan.
I also had a friend that called their tiny bitch Bear.
You will have to get her a collar with one of those scarf things attached.

Love the names Lily and Pip but unfortunatley have a horse called Lily and a little JR called Pip that comes to stay with me for holidays. |

Ahhh, She's so cute Loved the other naughty little dark tri pup at the beginning of the video too I really like the name Lottie, but then I'm rubbish at picking names. Perhaps this was the 'ONE' you were meant to have after all.

She's beautiful I have 3 JR crosses and 2 Full JRs. They're names are Jamie,Libby ( short for Liberty for obvious reasons !!),Elsa,Bertie and Russell. I always said if I had another female JR it would be called Truffles, don't ask me why ?????

Our second litter of Beagle puppies are now 11 days old and all seven bitches and one dog are doing really well. They are all tri-colours and the naming process for ours will be all beginning with the letter A after our prefix reg.Fairwinds,so can you imagine the choice is infinate of course but we thought we would like them to be all greek Gods or associated with similar, like Aphrodite. When their eyes are open and they are up properly later on I will post some photos. All tri-colours are born black and white, the tan coming three to four weeks later and the pieds(tan, lemon and white)are born white. Just a piece of info into breeding. The puppy looks super, really bright eyed and healthy.Best of luck to you. |

We have quite a collection of JRs, they are all either black and tan or completely tan with very little white and they are all very tiny.
Boys:
Malty (short for Malteser) Roly (cos he always rolls over onto his back when you talk to him) Dipstick (cos the end of his tail is black) Two toes (cos he's got an extra toe on each back foot) Roger Freckles Shy-lo (cos he's very shy)
Girls
Phoebe Snicker Griss (after Grissom from CSI - cos she's into everything) Garfield (little piglet) Mini Malt (image of her dad, Malty) Mibby (or Amoeba Malt cos she pulls all sorts of shapes with her face) |

Thanks everyone, some great suggestions so far, keep em coming. My problem is I cant seem to call her something if I know someone with same name We still keep coming back to Lolly, did think of Lola but keep being reminded of the big boobed woman LOL! What do you all think to the name Beau? When you name your animals do you always insist on 2 syllable names? |

I think 2 syllable names sound softer definately. What name do you think of when you look at her?? You could always call her "L for" as in L is for Lola, or Lolly and then turn it into something like Elphir............... Maybe change the vowels around and call her Lila, or Lilly Sandie |
