Thanks very much, he looks lovely and doing dressage and big.....my pal has a youngster, with this horse in his pedigree, born & bred in England before the owner returned to US....I can't find any other horses with this horse in their pedigree here in Britain. |

Khofo was a very famous straight Egyptian stallion who has sired some wonderful horses. If you log on to straightegyptians.com and do a search you will find lots about him. Or you could start a new topic and Hansi who owned him will give you lots of details.

Hi Sue,
Serenity Arabians (Hansi's stud) was originally in Canada & later on in Florida. By far his best known offspring was Bint Magidaa bred by Douglas Marshall out of the Alaa El Din Daughter Magidaa (Alaa El Din X Maysa) she was the dam of the full siblings Ruminaja Ali, Ruminaja Majed, Ruminaja Fayez, Alidaar, Bint Bint Magidaa, Ruminaja Bahjat etc all by Shaikh Al Badi. Later when the Kline's owned Magidaa, they declined the offer of a free breeding to Khofo. There's now't so queer as folk!!

Thanks for that Mike , will take a look at those you've listed, many never heard of before...Now had a trip around the Senenity Stud and looked at some of the horses interested in....My pal has a horse by 'Touch' SF Untouchable 1976,a grandson of Khofo and will now checkout the rest of his relations..Thanks very much....Sue |

Hi Sue
Sorry I haven't had time to get back to you but I see Mike has supplied you with lots of info.
Do register on SE.com and I know Hansi will be delighted to give you lots of info and probably some personal stories as well. He was ridden, as are all the Serenity stallions, and only used at stud after they have proved themselves under saddle. If you don't want to post on SE.com let me know and I will start a thread for you
I have a five year old SE stallion who is double Ruminaja Ali so also double Khofo further back. There are a lot of horses distantly related to him, you just need to go far enough back.
