Excuse me for hijacking the Discussion thread but wanted to highlight this forthcoming event.

HoCoN -in collaboration with N&S AHS - are hosting an in-hand & ridden clinic. The venue will be at the horse unit of Writtle Ag College, Writtle, Nr Chelmsford. The horse unit has a very nice indoor school with sufficient seating in the gallery.

Working with you and your horse, our experts for the day are Fiona Grant-Chivers, Francis Atkinson and Paul Atkinson

Numbers will be limited (thank you to those who have already shown an interest). However we would like to see a few more in-handers come forward with a view to taking part and taking advantage of this fabulous opportunity.

For the more serious amongst you a PJI will be incorporated into the RIDDEN section only.

As in the other topic,
I would just like to "publicly" thank Justine & the rest of the HOCON Group, for organising this clinic & incorporating one of the new AHS Prospective Judges Identifiers.

The AHS activites commitee are seriously committed to identifying & providing training and assessment of a number of new Judges - especially ridden judges - of which at the moment we have a shortage.

what next?
We already have an Intermediate ridden course planned for April, so anyone that sucessfuly passes both these PJIs (or one more if they passed the one last autumn), will be invited to attend this course.

So any "prospective" judges out there, please make the effort and attend this and\or the Northern Group PJI.

If anyone needs any information about AHS judges courses or training, should contact either myself npaarabians@aol.com(ridden co-ordinator) or Annette Dixon (overall co-ordinator & Inhand Co-ordinator).

Dear Justine,

I have just emailed you about this to ask you could we pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase take part in the ridden section?
I have a lovely young mare who is going nicely under saddle - she's been to a couple of dressage shows but I would like to show her this year and this clinic would just be perfect for us. There is a pic of her in the photo gallery (under 'peg' - her name is Kuzira or Kid, but there are also pics of me riding her mum Kuribi and a big hanoverian bruiser called Kevin on there). I would be thrilled if you would consider us....please!

I have tried to email you to get more info but the email keeps bouncing back. Can you try emailing me hannah@equinemediaservices.co.uk I would be interested in taking part with my gelding (in-hand section) or at least will def come along to watch as i'm only 10 mins down the road.
