Hi Sam, We used to own Coriolan for some years. Gillian gave him to me, because we were totally in love with him. We just moved from Holland to Austria and so Coriolan came to Austria too. He came on a saturday and i was away to the race track, Lila won her race that day. I knew that he was ridden in the past and I could not wait for him to settle in his new home I just had to ride him. So on Monday I put the saddle on him, he was 18 and not ridden for years. He was a total gentleman and just loved to ride. From then on I used to ride him very often, he was ridden by children and friends of mine and never put a foot wrong. After a couple of years we moved back to Holland and I had to let him go back to Gillian, due to circumstances, which I still regret untill today, I loved him so much and when I visited him afterwords in Scotland he was so sad to see me and looked at me why can I not come back with you again. He loved being ridden and our attention, when I am writing this ters come to my eyes, I never should have let him go back. Not that he was treated bad at Gillian's place oh no not at all, but he and I we missed each other just to much. Will scan some lovely pics of him over the next days for you o.k?? And his race record which is absolutely outstanding. Who is the grand daughter you have? Love Monique

Sam, Thanks for that, she,s a three yr old then, and very lovely. Gold certainly stamped his stock from what I have seen.
Does she have the white flecks and markings on the inside of her legs, high up, and on her loins?? Boneeta does. You may find this interesting if she does. I had a few friends round, including Chris James for supper, some weeks ago, Chris was really taken with her, and said she would probably, !!?? have coloured babies if put to a coloured stallion. I wont be doing that though. I leave that to all of you that know what you are doing.

Yes, little white flecks, and some on her stifle area too. She's 3 rising 4, and is hopefully being covered in 2007, my colt if he is used has a lot of white on his legs too so could be very interesting, I know some people don't like loud white markings but I do! |
