glad the news wasn't too bad,and wish you the best of luck that he makes a full recovery. i know at the race yard where my sister works they were breaking a horse in and having trouble with the breaking roller so put the horse in the stable with it on loose when she had settled to it outside and the mare went mad kicked the wall and shattered her whole pelvis and was PTS.
Hi just left the yard he is definately feeling better he is hyper this morning. Pawing the ground/bucking/screaming off to the vets again to pick up some sedalin any one got any sugestions of what else to feed him Kirsty
If you can get your vet to give you ACP tablets for dogs insteaqd of Sedalin gel---ACP is the same stuff but MUCH cheaper. You can stick the required amount of tablets into apple slices and vary the dose up or down when you see the effect it has on him. Glad to hear the news isn't as bad as it might have been.
Hi Kirsty Glad to hear that Skye is perking up. i dont know how tight the ties have to be, but is there any way you could hang some toys/munchies up for him to play with? Will try to pop over and see you all soon. Prim ps. Billy looks amazing in your signature!
Kirsty, I wondered what was wrong when you replied to my post. I'm so sorry to hear of Skye's accident but glad it isn't as bad as it could have been. He's obviously feeling somewhat better! Hope everything proceeds according to plan and he isn't a nightmare to walk out when you get to that stage. How's his chest infection?
Hi Prim Thanks for the comments about billy. Yes i do plan to get him some licks and toys top play with he hasn't got to be too tight just tight enough to stop him lieing down, thanks marageret he is feeling better and is on a calmer supplement and only had sedalin once (and he only had it then as a precaution as i was away for the day) but i think a lot of this is due to the mare being in keeping him comapny. The electricain has been this morning and put another socket up so that we can plug the radio in near him without having to use an extension lead and so that we can plug the heat lamp in on cold nights. Hoping the vet will let him go on the walker first before he goes on the lead off cons. he is always good to lead and Connie will just have to sulk about alll the walking she will have to do!!! The chest infection is ok no snotty nose anymore just got to keep an eye on it. If anyone has got any suggestions for toys/licks for him let me know. The physio has been this morning and lasered it Kirsty
