I've just seen this thread (gosh tv is AWFUL tonight!! .
Of course I have the beautiful Khazana Bint Almas, daughter of Diamond Star - and so like him. She has the traits of the family in her face markings and as Jude knows quite a lot of white (she was the one I fell for when I was looking for a dark bay with no white lol  .
My photos are almost all ones on film except for a couple taken on my phone so quality not great. And no good at downloading - or even uploading photos but happy to send to Jude if you wanted to see her! 
She also will always stay with me unless anything unforeseen happens and I've had her since she was 8 months old. She's 15 now and she's my Treasure (is what her name means).  |

Yes Carolyn, send the pics to me - I'm sure I have some that you sent me - we must point out that she has a FULL sister and brother - the brother is chestnut like Khazana but not "quite" as much white - the sister is deep liver chestnut with NO WHITE.
Diamond - for me - produced bays, chestnuts and one grey - the chestnuts and bays are similar but the grey quite different.

I thought you might be interested in news of Ali ibn Dream (Diamond Star - Border Dream)owned and ridden by Di Barlow. Aged 20 and just 14.2hh this feisty little character was placed 4th in the EGB Senior Championship, was Best Veteran (horse 17 and over) won the Cotswold TRophy (14.2 and under) 3rd in the Jasper Trophy (best three graded ride results) and 3rd in the Mesauod trophy (best Pure Bred).

| Oh thanks for that Jan - I often wondered what happened to him. I so remember his mum - she was a lovely mare and so easy to handle and cover. Do you have any photos of him - would love to see how he turned out. |

sadly he's no longer with us.
