Hi guys i have a quick question (sorry if im being a bit thick) but when you go on to allbreedpedigree, and look at you horses, you can look at reports, and two of the topics are line breeding and equivalents. please can some explain to me what these mean and show,
The linebreeding bit is the easy (ish ) bit it gives you the number of "lines" that trace to different relatives and also how many "crosses" to that relative in the pedigree your researching and a % of blood ie: Rissla, 12 crosses, 2 lines & 10.55% blood (I hope that makes sense?)
The equivalent bit I haven't a clue as I also asked that same question a good while back Looking at it again I think it's giving you common ancestors of equal blood proportions that are in your pedigree
