Hi everyone ! My name is Merrie Boone. I live in the US and have a small farm named Silver Dream Arabians. I am blessed to own the youngest Silver Vanity daughter, PR Silver Dream. She is 99.57 % Crabbbet. She is in foal to a bay pure Crabbet stallion australian stallion named Dandaloo Kadet. I am hoping to get another daughter to add to my breeding program. We do have one daughter of hers that is a Count Dorsaz and Silver Vanity daughter. She is a gorgeous mare and is 99.79 % crabbet. We like to ride and show occassionally. We are breeding for nearly pure to pure Crabbet arabians that are elegant athletes, have wonderful dispositions,and have wonderful movement.
I have bred two colts, of course I wanted fillies. One colt was purchased by well known breeder Bazy Tankersley. She was looking to bring back the Silver Vanity blood in her herd. The other colt was purchased by Melanie Johnson who is also a well respected US breeder. She was looking to bring the Silver Vanity and Rissalix blood into her herd.
I am also the list owner of a group called Friends of Pure Crabbet Arabians. It is a friendly forum to allow owners/breeders of high percentage and pure Crabbet arabians to exchange knowledge, information and resources. There are alot of breeders and owners of pure Crabbet and high percentage Crabbet arabians on the list. There are also people on the list that are interested in learing about these increasingly rare lines. A welcome from me, too. This site is a constant source of information and you will find that everyone is extremely helpful and most of all - kind. I have had no end of advice and offers of help in the past and I have also been able to meet some of the members at our Nationals in August - a great bunch of people.

Thanks for the warm welcome. It is so nice to meet other arabians owners and breeders. I have had many different breeds of horses throughout my lifetime, but never have I had such the bond as I have had with my arabians.

Good to meet you. This forum is a great place to be! I've not been here all that long but I have found everyone to be friendly, caring and helpful.
I'm a Crabbet fan, although I don't own a purebred and having taken a look at your site, may I just say I think your horses are beautiful!
