I have arranged to loan my mare for a while to a really nice family and I am in the process for drawing up a contract for the loan. Have you got any tips, ideas, warnings,advice, and musts to go into the contract to protect my mare if things should go pear shaped or are there any websites where i could find an example of a contract for loaning.

The BHS website has a sample loan agreement. I have used that when I have loaned in the past.

I have loaned out a few times now and use the BHS agreement every time.

I also recommend the BHS loan agreement.
