Who is the best value? What are your experiences, how quickly did they arrive, what was the horsey accomodation like (if you have ever needed it) just hoping for some ideas before I start shopping around.

We use Anthony Evans http://www.horseboxinsurance.co.uk/

They're very reasonable and when we had a blown out in our (ex - thank god!) 35yr old Bedford TK box on the way to the nationals last year with a mare and foal, they were quick and helpful. If we had needed it they would have put us and the horse up for the night in the nearerst hotel/stable stable yard

Hi Equestrian support have been excellent, very quick when we have needed them, and they also ring every few minutes to make sure your horses are ok and to keep you informed.
We broke down at 4am and they had someone with us within 30mins.
They give you total peace of mind.

Richard and Karen

OMG I remember Anthony Evans, he used to bring his daughter around the shows in Coventry area - they always had fantasic ponies which were just a bit too much for the girl to cope with. I didn't realise he did cover now!!

hi i use SEIB i think they have palled up with the AHS as well now so you maybe able to get liabilty cover as well ( uised to NFU ) i may be wrong..

i have been with them 3 yrs , they are very good if you need the horses taking away becasue for whatever reason they cant get you going they will, most of the time they will try to get your lorry going!!

Also , they can stable nearby if you are a awful long way from home.
i am not entirely sure how competitve they are on quotes now as i just renew every yr now - i am very happy with the service
good luck with your hunt

There are several out there:-

If you have NFU unsurance then ESS will be your recovery-you can join ESS even if you haven't got NFU policy

SEIB have equity red star for their recovery

Anthony Evans has their own recovery based in Northampton.

green flag also do their own rescue

OHTO also are recovery and they do provide a european recovery also (extra though and lasts for 30 days)

How quick they respond is who is available in the area to get out to you. Your wait can be from as little as 30 minutes to 2 hours. Stabling, again it depends upon where you have broken down.
