Please someone tell me where I can get a small sized haynet with small sized holes. I'm using Horsehage haylege nets which are the right size but could do with even smaller holes. I've got one of those trawler nets but it is MASSIVE.
Any ideas?

You could try sticking one of the horsehage nets inside another one, that would slow him down a bit more |

Hi, I use the anti-vice ones, you can get them from Derby House, they are very good, and long lasting.

Hi Vera,
I got some a while back for about a fiver apiece. The holes are about an inch across. I need the small holes to keep the youngsters feet out!

I expect you can get them in colour co-ordinated colours Vera!!
I've got some of the very small holed haylage ones (fine black & blue mesh) - they were horribly expensive - but they certainly do slow down epic eaters!! Esp when you put one inside another - thats just GREAT at slowing them down!! |

I get all my small holed haynets from Robinsons Country and Leisure. They have small to large sizes in a few different colours. The latest is a salmony pink colour, my daughter loves buying pink! |

I think they were hand made by a local chap, which doesn't help you much though I will be going up that way tomorrow so will check to see if he still does them if you like.

He must sew them by hand to cost £33 each! Vera, I don't think that Dennis would like Salmon Pink very much?

Hi Vera
I see you've found a solution, but maybe for future reference - we use Robinsons small-hole nets. Cost about a fiver. Are big enough for all night, but not totally ginormous. We do find the tying-up string is quite thick and a bit difficult to tie sometimes (especially if you overfill the net) but the upside is that they don't break and last a lot longer than normal haynets.
Found the link - http://www.robinsonsequestrian.co.uk/product_details.asp?ID=2180 - they are the blue and black ones.
Cheers,
Renee
