Hello
Are any of you lot off to "Gay Paris" this year? I have just received my tickets this morning after finally working out the "Salon du Cheval" web site! It isn't the most straight forward web site to order tickets from, but for anyone who is having trouble you have to ring the phone number given and once the French recorded message is over press "1" and you should be put through to an operator.
Now this is where it gets interesting as my French isn't too good and she spoke broken English, but after 2 or 3 attempts I hung up not too sure as to whether I'd receive my tickets! But, whoopeee, there they were this morning on my door mat.
Moral of this story is - Persevere with the web site - it can be done!

There is a group of about 8 or 9 going from North Wales. Can't join them, no-one to mind horses and grandson going back into hospital and may need major surgery. I'm planning to keep that time clear.
Please someone take loads of photos and post them for us poor unfortunates left behind. Next year........ |

Walter and I are going to Paris, will be seated with Liz Salmon and group from the USA. Where are you staying? We are in the Mecure, right at the show site.

We are catching the Eurostar from Ashford on the Friday and have booked into a hotel called L'Hotel which is in the centre of Paris somewhere, so we will have to catch a train to the show. Apparently "Oscar Wilde" died there, so should be intresting!!
Sounds good that you are staying close by, not sure how long it will take us to get there.
I have managed to drag my other half away for the weekend so we are only going to the show on Saturday, but should be quite good being the stallion day - lots of excitement! |

Christine,
We wondered why the cases were extra heavy when they were weighed at the Check-in Desk, now we know but where in our house are you hiding? Not only will you get a full report from Ms Salmon, you will get a full report from us! Can hardly wait to see all those beautiful horses and to soak up the atmosphere and to get away from the constant drizzle of Lincolnshire - the horses need their wellies!!

Wondered why her feed was going down sooooooooo fast!! Send some of that Texas sunshine to Lincolnshire to dry out our paddocks, tired of the rain now.
