My Arab mare 18 yo has got lodes of grass warts all over her udder,( they appeared out of nowhere) and are starting to go down her back legs as well, I have read that they go on there own. Have any of you had them and how long do they stay. I did once have a 2 yo that had them and they went but I cant remember much about them.

Only seen them in youngsters and then they are a virus and you are right they clear up as the immune system develops.
If they have appeared very quickly could it be an allergy rash or reaction to something.

Chips has developed a load this year (four year old). They are all on his sheath and inner thighs; I'm not doing anything about them as I'm sure they will go as quickly as they arrived, in a few months.
