My Arab mare 18 yo has got lodes of grass warts all over her udder,( they appeared out of nowhere) and are starting to go down her back legs as well, I have read that they go on there own. Have any of you had them and how long do they stay. I did once have a 2 yo that had them and they went but I cant remember much about them.
Chips has developed a load this year (four year old). They are all on his sheath and inner thighs; I'm not doing anything about them as I'm sure they will go as quickly as they arrived, in a few months.

Only seen them in youngsters and then they are a virus and you are right they clear up as the immune system develops. If they have appeared very quickly could it be an allergy rash or reaction to something.
