thank you all for your kind words. It was a dreadful, dreadful situation and, the vet seemed to take forever, I did not know whether to stay with the horse or run to the vets.... at least we got to say goodbye, although really, I don't think she knew who we were. I am glad she was found pretty soon after going down. Many thanks to the YO Paula Kemp who never left her side and held Angel so that Zarello would not be stressed unnecessarily. One think I just remembered was that there were 2 Buzzards flying round... I think when I saw them I knew there was no hope |
