Posted - 30 Aug 2011 : 6:56:49 PM Tied two pieces of baler twine through, stood on one and pulled the other up like my life depended on it while daughter shoved bit ring through hole, worked a treat! |

Posted - 30 Aug 2011 : 3:38:44 PM Thanks I will try sticking them in hot water and then the string technique, wish I had thought to get some with slits in now! If the bit is too small with them on I will scream, thats if we get them on! |

Posted - 30 Aug 2011 : 11:15:16 AM Would you believe it..there's a turiorial on the technique for getting the little on! http://www.wikihow.com/Put-Bit-Guards-on-a-Horse s-Bit
Try a little vaseline too, might speed things up! I'm sure you can buy them with slits rather than holes, to reduce the frustration, trauma & wasted hours of your life Good Luck! |
