With a sad heart I tell the world that Hakka has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He fought a long and hard battle against illness and during a brief respite made it to the UK International last year. I love him and always will. My heart is broken. Forever. No horse I have ever met was so much alive, so full of character and so full of love. Watch out you mares, he's up there with you and keen to say hi. I would like to thank the Jones family for breeding him, Andrea for buying him, and then letting me have him for the rest of his life. He is gone, but definately not forgotten.

Oh Donna, I am so very sorry to read this - it was obvious to all how much you loved Hakka, and that he truly was and always will be your horse of a life time. It 7 years next week since I lost mine - what a massive hole these special horses leave in your lives, but it is wonderful to have so many lovely memories to treasure....what a horse, Hakka was fabulous, and he had a wonderful life with you - loads of hugs xxx |
