With a sad heart I tell the world that Hakka has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He fought a long and hard battle against illness and during a brief respite made it to the UK International last year. I love him and always will. My heart is broken. Forever. No horse I have ever met was so much alive, so full of character and so full of love. Watch out you mares, he's up there with you and keen to say hi. I would like to thank the Jones family for breeding him, Andrea for buying him, and then letting me have him for the rest of his life. He is gone, but definately not forgotten.

Donna, I am so sorry, we could all hear the love you had for him when you posted about him, I was privileged to meet him last year when a friend came looking at a colt at your place, I had a daughter of his for a while, now happily settled with a friend, rest in peace lovely man, although I expect you will be up there giving the ladies a good run,hugs to you too,

Donna, very sad to hear this news, I too had a Hakka filly, who unfortunately passed away on the morning I was to collect her after buying her back from a friend.

My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Oh Donna I really dont know what to say. Your love and devotion to Hakka was obvious and your heart must be broken into a thousand pieces. You gave him the best life a horse can possibly hope for. He will always be with you - in your memories and in your heart.

Oh Donna, what can I say. Nothing at the moment will ease your pain at losing the wonderful Hakka. You can take comfort in the fact that he was loved and cared for all his life, so many aren't.
