Posted - 01 May 2010 : 7:56:01 PM I was wondering if any of you could clear something up for me. My Arab is meant to be 75% Egyptian and 25% Crabbit. Does this make her a purebred Arab? I am not familiar with Crabbits so don't know. |

Posted - 02 May 2010 : 2:30:56 PM Thanks for your replies. The amount of people I have argued with about this. I have thought she was a purebred all along. Apparently she has very good bloodlines and has been bought unseen before for breeding due to her bloodlines but she never fell pregnant so got sold on. I think some people think that if your horse is an arab they have to have the very distinctive mussel which mine doesn't really have. |

Posted - 02 May 2010 : 08:17:14 AM it means that 75% of his purebred arabian blood come from Egyptian arabians & 25% of his Arabian blood (ancestors) is from the Crabbet bred arabians... if you google Crabbet there is a fair bit of information out there on them..
Crabbet is a Stud that bred Arabians.. |
