I was wondering if any of you could clear something up for me. My Arab is meant to be 75% Egyptian and 25% Crabbit. Does this make her a purebred Arab? I am not familiar with Crabbits so don't know.
it means that 75% of his purebred arabian blood come from Egyptian arabians & 25% of his Arabian blood (ancestors) is from the Crabbet bred arabians... if you google Crabbet there is a fair bit of information out there on them..
Thanks for your replies. The amount of people I have argued with about this. I have thought she was a purebred all along. Apparently she has very good bloodlines and has been bought unseen before for breeding due to her bloodlines but she never fell pregnant so got sold on. I think some people think that if your horse is an arab they have to have the very distinctive mussel which mine doesn't really have.
You have "Rodania" on both sire and dams tail female lines through Rabla, I would also suggest you read up on Crabbet history , you will find in fasinating and educational
