Posted - 11 Feb 2010 : 3:18:43 PM This is wonderful news, though, of course, it will still happen at home. It seems that they have only banned using it in warm up areas so it hasn't gone far enough. However, it is definitely a very big step in the right direction, and at least now, it is officially bad practice. |

Posted - 11 Feb 2010 : 2:44:24 PM It is a result, however I think these horses are trained to accept the 'overbending' and the excessive aggressive force they talk about doesn't really come into it. I hope the ban works!
As you say Callisto, it's not going to stop any of them at home; they're convinced it's useful and good. |
