Posted - 17 Dec 2009 : 11:13:37 AM Well following some bad.Kelvin found our old girl down in distress in the big field yesterday lunchtime, she is 29 years old,to cut a long story short she had a distended small intestine and after tubing positive reflux. We took her into RCVS where she was reassesed and found to have multiple affected loops. She went into surgery at 10.30 last night. All wnet well and she came round and was monitored in a box. Drama at 04.30 when her heart rate went up fast. But all is well this morning and she has pooed. Huge thankyou to tyrells equine clinic and liz and other vets at rcvs. Hopefully all will continue well. Now going back to bed to continure recovering from faux hypothermia. |

As others have said she must be very fit for a 29 yr old. I hope that she continues to recover and that you are thawed out now. What a remarkable girl xxxx |
