As it is a bit bleak out there it would be good to see some more pics of horses in action this year to cheer us all up !

Only just dipped into this, but what absolutely fab piccies, so many horses showing just how versatile our Arabs are . Long may it continue

Thanks, the person riding in three of the pics is my partner, Terry Madden. I only do the occassional 20 mile ride, my job is crewing!! Endurance riding isn't my cuppa tea, I show and do dressage. All the horses do this before and whilst doing endurance to keep them balanced and supple,

Fabulous action shots of beautiful, talented horses, they really do make you want to get out there! Who's the chap in the last pic - guessing not you as your name is Amanda!
LIV Posted - 13 Dec 2009 : 09:05:00 AM
AJJ, they're fantastic pics. I am so awfully jealous as would love to do some endurance again.

Estasana Abu Estasan, advanced Endurance boy showing us how it's done!

Mourad Saqr, 5 year old imported SE,tossed aside from showing due to temprament, long story, but loving every minute of endurance.

Medraar, our little Sea Biscuit, now advanced and creeping up the ladder.

Sheik El Nazeer My boy, sadly taken from me 3 years ago to a tragic accident, after a sucessful show career turning his hoof to endurance which he loved.

All boys competing up to and including 80 miles barefoot!

Wow!! What fantastic pics really brightened up my weekend Love the hunter trials pics of Kalibis, he looks like he's giving it his all. I'm also a member of the Jane Miller & Azif combo...he's such a handsome chap I did notice not only happy smiley horses but happy smily people too...speaks volumes

What a lovely horse and so nice to see him in a snaffle with nothing more than a loosely-fitted running martingale.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Lovely little jump on him. Tidy and careful.

Had a great first season.

Cinnabar Moth (by Hawkmoth x Kamono) has been a star and can't wait for 2010 season.

Think this first one is Breamore doing our first 40k

Then our first 2 days: Day 1 Barbury Castle, getting our first grade 1

Day 2 Barbury Castle

Me and my horsey soulmate Dulciya just loving the South Downs!

Hopefully we'll get a few more outings in 2010 after a messed up 2009.

His dam was just stunning .Exotic head and serene temper .
He was in the next stall to Mezziah and seemed to get along well with him.
Enjoy!

Alistair, sparky is so him! When we got him we were trying to think of a stable name for him and ended up with "Chippy" but Sparky would have been good. After he left the Zircon stud he did very little until we got him at 9 years so we wondered what he would make of competing but he loves it and does everything he is asked. A real credit to his breeding.
