Posted - 12 Aug 2010 : 1:18:17 PM I have a rose-ish grey arab and I have just discovered that you have to have a colour browband for ridden showing.. just wondered what colour people thought would suit the little man :) |

Posted - 27 Aug 2010 : 09:51:38 AM I love the Lilac one great for greys even for boys, I would say most colours go with a grey horse but I like blue and silver and of course the lilac. |

Posted - 26 Aug 2010 : 3:00:53 PM I show my PBA rose grey in a navy blue, green and gold browband. i think it looks great on her and not too OTT. My chestnut riding pont will be in blue and silver or green as still trying to find a greena nd yellow one that apparently looks good.

Posted - 13 Aug 2010 : 09:18:40 AM You don't 'have to have' a coloured browband for ridden Showing, in fact the correct turnout for a purebred is a plain browband. Saying that you are seeing more & more pretty browbands on purebreds these days
Blue suits most greys teamed with either yellow, gold, green, red ~ if he was a mare I suggest blue & pink
Your choice at the end of the day, try & team it up with your jacket. |

Posted - 12 Aug 2010 : 8:24:27 PM With a grey you can wear just about any colour i'd have thought! Though red might not work with a rose grey - i like blues or silvers on greys |

Posted - 12 Aug 2010 : 1:43:24 PM Hello - No you do not have to have a coloured browband to show a leather one is fine - it depends on your preference. I show my stallion in a stitched leather browband but my chestnut mare has a coloured browband. Colour - again your preference but try and have something that matches your horse and doesnt stand out like a beacon - you are showing the horse not the browband! A fairly safe bet is a red, white and blue - but even these three colours come in many differnt styles so it is up to you. Good luck! |
