I know oat straw is ok for horses but what about Barley straw ? |

OH was driving across the country at the weekend and saw loads of cereal fields with ragwort in full bloom waving above the crop - just a warning to be as careful feeding straw as with hay/haylage. |

Mine have had barley straw mixed with hay (half and half) for years with no probs. All are good 'doers' though. |

The problem with barley straw is some horses like it too much. |
