Posted - 01 Aug 2014 : 3:40:12 PM Percy Pointless is at vets on drip at min, he started acting quietly on wed night so i took him to vets yesterday , the vet checked him over then sent him home, during the night he has been sick and feels cold and very subdued so took him back to vets this morning. X rays show no blockage which is what i thought it may be as hes always eating the furniture along with anything else he can grab. They ahve done 3 tests on his liver and 2 are saying there is a problem one says fine. They are sending stuff to labs but of course its friday so no results till mon, his mouth is cool and his eyes look a tiny bit red and he is so quiet. Any thoughts anybody , they are keeping him on a drip and we now have to wait for lab results. just wondered if anybody had any ideas what could be wrong with my big daft boy |

Posted - 01 Sep 2015 : 6:13:26 PM That happened to me when walking my stepmother's Doberman - she took off after a rabbit and I wrongly supposed she would stop when she got to the end of the extending lead - duh! |

Posted - 01 Sep 2015 : 1:40:37 PM Percy really is in disgrace today, yesterday my friends came to visit, we had just finished lunch and i got up to take him out for a wee. Just as i went out of the door he ran off up the drive after the squirrel and pulled me out of my shoes and flat out on the drive dragging me on my front. I now have cut knees, elbows and a very sore toe , my poor friend came out to see what the shouting was about just as i was getting up, we did giggle as it was funny if it hadn,t been so painful. Today while out walking on the moor he did the same to my OH pulling him over and getting the extending lead wrapped round his leg so he couldn,t get up, had to giggle at him. So anybody know if there is a doggy borstal , hes very naughty so when i walk him later i will put his halti on i think, my friend suggested a chifney |

Posted - 21 Aug 2015 : 7:32:17 PM Big hug for Percy and hope he is on the mend. Yes the highs (normal all good) are our great pleasure however the lows are tuff. My Dolly is supporting Percy by pointlessly running around the garden with my knickers x |

Posted - 07 Aug 2015 : 7:40:27 PM Sally, I am so pleased Percy is doing well. I know how upset I was when Dex was diagnosed with kidney problems at 13 and he wasn't poorly so nothing compared to what you and young Percy have been through. Stay naughty Percy and keep chasing the squirrels xxx |

Posted - 07 Aug 2015 : 7:08:06 PM Well its a year since Percy Pointless was ill and i am pleased to say that hes now back to his naughty old self and doing really well. We had to up his medication so he has 8 tablets a day but hes doing well and full of himself again. His favourite thing at present is to chase the poor squirrels who are stealing the birdseed. Thankyou to all who posted on this it really helped me to stay positive when he was so ill |
