Lykia was bought from the Ty-Draw Stud in Wales as a 10-month-old filly. We had been looking for some time for a filly that combined Polish blood with that of El Shaklan, when I saw Lykia I thought she was the prettiest filly I had ever seen.

Lykia has grown from an exquisite filly into a beautiful young mare and we believe she will only become more beautiful with time and that she will be a valuable broodmare. Again, she possesses the wonderful temperament you would expect from her pedigree.

In 2005 Lykia will be bred to Eldor to produce the foal we have been waiting years for!!

Passion hasn’t let us down; she has produced two excellent foals so far. The 2002 grey filly Periannath by Eldor who has since been sold to Karen Budkiewicz and the 2004 grey colt Faramir CA by the wonderful Om el Shaheen who will be shown this year and will be retained as a future stallion.

Early on in 2004, we decided it would be a good idea to enter Passion for the British National Championships at Malvern. She had never been shown before and we thought why not start at the top!!

You have no idea how proud and excited we were when Passion (and Wayne Walker, of course) was placed 5th in a very strong class of mares. Passion had qualified for Europe at her very first attempt and at Malvern too!!
