This lovely stallion was acquired by us in 1995 as a two week old foal. We went to visit Silverdale Arabians in 1994 looking for a horse for my son. We looked at all the beautiful stallions including Ibn Estasha and Esta Espashan. They were all absolutely breathtaking but when we stopped at Eldon’s stable we knew that we wanted a colt by this stallion. I can honestly say that ten years and many trials and tribulations later we did not make a mistake. Wendy Carr rang to say that a beautiful grey colt out of her Edykt daughter had just been born and would we like to see him. We went to see him and fell in love with him. My son has since gone on to other things but I can honestly say that Eldor is the one horse that will never leave me. Ok he has been a pain on occasions (hormones) but he has listened to my problems and let me cry all over him when things have gone wrong! He has proven himself the very best of friends. Also he has provided me with my first rosettes, and even better than that my first rosette at Malvern and the UK International. He has sired some lovely foals that are now into their fourth year and are currently proving themselves under saddle. The

I have no plans to show Eldor again in hand, at least until he is a Veteran. I think his performances with Bill Gore in 2003 were pretty special. If you saw the class at the British National Championships, you will know what I mean!! Honestly, the company he was in!!. Imperial Kamill and Om el Shaheen. Both of whom are champions!

This season he will be shown under at some ofl the major shows. Look out for him!!

At his very first show under saddle Eldor was 3rd in the Novice Ridden Stallions at HoCoN. Thanks you Sue and Linda!!

It is with great pleasure that we can now announce the arrival at Cliff End Arabians of ‘The Stallion with the Most’ G Shakib from Adam and Caroline Reeves.

G Shakib is the son of World Champion Ibn Estopa, the baby brother of El Shaklan and the beautiful Omel Shiva Estopa daughter of World Champion Carmargue, G Shakib has the most people-loving disposition that you would expect from his illustrious pedigree. He would sit with you by the fire if you would let him!

Although only lightly shown, G Shakib has been third at the UK International Horse Show at Towerlands and was Reserve Champion Stallion at the Egyptian Event where he scored 20 20 20 for movement!! G Shakib will be shown in 2005.

We are really excited at the prospect of producing excellent, typey foals from G Shakib and our mares SFA Passionata by Fawor and Lykia by G Iridis.

Faramir CA is the combination of the best of Polish bloodlines crossed with that of El Shaklan – and to say that we are pleased with him is an understatement. He has a lovely temperament, a pretty head, good conformation and he can really move – he will be shown this season – so watch for him!! Faramir CA will be retained as a future stallion prospect.
