Eldor is a 1995 grey stallion by European and Polish National Champion Stallion Eldon who was leased to the UK from Poland for just two breeding seasons. His dam Tahirah is by Reserve World Champion Edykt who was exported to the United States

Eldor is a really lovely horse, with an excellent temperament, good conformation and his sire’s outstanding movement. He lives in a mixed yard, surrounded by mares, fillies, geldings and a colt.

Eldor has been shown at National and International level, always coming home with a rosette!

Eldor is broken to ride and is a lively and enthusiastic companion; he took part in the Endurance GB Inaugural Ride and completed it with ease. It is hoped that he will take part in other endurance rides in the future.

We have been extremely pleased with the quality of Eldor’s foals to date; they have all inherited his excellent temperament and outstanding movement. The first of his progeny to enter the show ring is the Part Bred Gelding Qui Gon Jinn who was awarded the title of Reserve Champion Gelding; we were extremely pleased, as it was Qui Gon Jinn’s very first show! Bart has now been sold to Brenda Pearson in Scotland. He has been backed and is coming on nicely. We would like to congratulate Karen Budkiewicz on the purchase of Periannath, the first of our 2002 fillies by Eldor and would like to wish her every success for the future. Frezia has recently been sold to Sylvia Pollock in Essex. We wish them both every success in the future.

The latest addition to Eldor’s family is Aragorn (pending). He arrived in March 2004. He is a beautiful grey colt out of the lovely mare Alula by Kazmierek x Silver Fashion. He is proudly owned by Jackie Mackenzie.

In 2005 we hope that Eldor will enter the ridden show ring and have lots of fun!
