on his seasonal debut at BRIGHTON over 6 furlongs +, returned
to form in great style to win the Conkwell Grange Stud Premier
Handicap Stakes at BATH on Wednesday evening, 23rd June 2004.
An inspection by the Stewards prior to racing at 5.30, due to
strong winds, gave the go ahead for racing to take place. Shahngali,
ridden by Mr Pierre Deymonaz, Owned by Ms T J Wright and trained
by Mr A J Brunton, won in decisive fashion, racing well clear
in the final furlong to win by a comfortable two and a half
lengths.
